Michael Guzzio was born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Las Vegas, NV. He moved to Albuquerque in 1990 to help start a local church and ministry training center where he served as a youth pastor and assistant pastor as well as an itinerant minister in the US, UK, and Mexico. Through several life changing experiences, Michael’s world view began to transform and he became interested in the Shamanic path. In 2005, Michael became an apprentice of Curandera Maestra Delia Tamez. He completed an in-depth apprenticeship in platicas, limpias, temazcales, fire guardian, 7-sacred stones, sacred songs/chants and is quite knowledgeable in earth-based rituals and ceremonies. Michael incorporates aspects of his Sicilian heritage in his healing path and Shamanic practice.

He currently lives in Albuquerque with his two children and enjoys serving the community using the Spiritual modalities of his Sicilian heritage as well as what he has learned from his teachers, elders and spiritual guides. In addition to his healing practice, Michael also host community ceremonies, Temazcals ( sweat lodges), spiritual nature walks, yoga and breath work, sound healing events and retreats. Michael also serves as a teacher and mentor to many students helping them develop their spiritual gifts and healing path. Michael is also available to travel and come to your community to host ceremonies, workshops and retreats. He looks forward to being of service to you and your community. In 2021 Michael joined the Training Team at Shifting Perspectives Training Institute. This will yet be another way Michael can serve the community at large and other holistic practitioners as well.
