Offered for FREE to the team members at our sister company Odyssey Counseling.
Holistic Practitioner Certification Program
A program offering courses focused on relating to all aspects of a person. These courses are for personal-growth and self-improvement. There are no special requirements to take these courses, and they are geared towards applying the knowledge to self. We realize the pandemic has really hit a lot of individuals hard which has made functioning mentally, physically, and emotionally difficult. Through psycho-education these courses can help one utilize techniques and information to assist with whole body regulation. If your interest is in applying such coursework professionally, we have the two following programs that will meet your needs.
Somatic Psychotherapy Program
A program offering courses focused on integrating body-mind-spirit modalities and techniques. You must be either a licensed mental health professional or actively registered in a counseling or social work program. Through NBCC most of these classes can earn continuing education credits. The purpose of these courses are to teach a mental health professional ways to integrate body-centered energy modalities into therapeutic work with clients. A Supervised Practicum is required for certifications. All courses are designed and taught with a trauma-informed approach by trauma specialist(s).
Somatic Psychology Program
A program offering courses focused on integrating body-mind-spirit modalities and techniques. Anyone can take these classes, however individuals taking these courses must have a goal to work in a helping profession serving clients. You do not need a degree or certification prior to taking these courses, and there are courses at varying levels. All courses are designed and taught with a trauma-informed approach by trauma specialist(s).
